The Jew Izrael Herszkowicz [Yisroel son of Tzvi Ha-Levy] Duchna (Tachna), day laborer, thirty four years old, residing in the town of Ostrów, appeared in the presence of the witnesses, the Jews Ick (Icek) Notkowicz, synagogue sexton, forty years old, and Nochym Moszkowicz Margol, day laborer, fifty seven years old, both of whom residing in the town of Ostrów, and showed Us a child of female gender that was born in the town of Ostrów on the nineteenth / thirty first of May of the current year at ten o'clock in the evening to his wife, the Jewess Mindla Leyzerowna*, thirty years old. At the religious ceremony this child was given the names Basia Rywa [Batyia Reeva bas Yisroel Ha-Levy].
