[First line illegible] .... on the seventeenth / twenty ninth of September, eighteen hundred and forty eight at ten o’clock in the morning.  We announce that in the presence of the witnesses, the Jews Gimpel Jankielowicz Tandeta, age fifty eight, and Herszko Leybowicz Donieli?, age forty nine, both of whom synagogue sextons residing in Zareby Koscielne and according to the statement of the here present Jew Ick(o) Szaykowicz Luzym, assistant Rabbi, at the fourteenth / twenty sixth of the current month at eight o’clock in the evening in Zareby Koscielne was performed the religious wedding between the Jews Srul Wólfowicz Maliszewer, widower, age thirty two, earning his living with day laboring, and Sora Ryfka (two given names) Leybówna Blumenfeld, unmarried, age twenty, daughter of the Jews Leyba, deceased, and Cypa married couple Judkowicz Blumenfeld, living wih her mother in Zareby Koscielne. The marriage preceded three banns that were announced in the synagogue of Zareby Koscielne 1. on the twenty eighth of September / ninth of August, 2. on the fourth / sixteenth of September, 3. on the eleventh / twenty third of September of the current year. The mother of the bride gave her verbal permission to the wedding and no obstruction against this marriage occurred. The newly married testified that they did not conclude any pre-marital record before a notary. Then this document was read to the married couple and the witnesses and signed by the assistant Rabbi and the Holder of the Civil Records, whereas the newly married and the witnesses declared that they cannot write.
