It took place in the city of Nur, on August the eighteenth/August the thirty first, eighteen hundred and forty nine, at eight o’clock in the morning.  Sana Chunowicz Kur, a Jew, twenty two years of age, a shoemaker, have appeared with Herszek Juskowicz Kęp, age twenty four years old, a shoemaker, and Jankiel Ickowicz-Danenberg, age forty eight years old, a shoemaker, both from Nur.  He showed us a baby boy who was born in a city of Nur, on August the tenth/August the twenty second, eighteen hundred and forty nine; at nine o’clock in the evening. to his wife Fajga Chunowicz Kur, age twenty years old.  During the circumcision ceremony the baby was named Abram.  This document was read loudly to testifiers and signed by a clerk of the registry office because both testifiers are illiterate.
