It
happened in Kossuty on the eighteenth / thirtieth of November, eighteen
hundred fifty five at
two o’clock
in the
afternoon. The Jews Mosko
Szaykowicz Luzym, age sixty six, and Herszko Leybowicz Donicki, age fifty
six, both of whom are synagogue sextons residing in Zareby Koscielne,
appeared and testified that yesterday in Zareby Koscielne at five
o’clock in the evening died the Jew Herszko Abramowicz [Tzvi son of
Avram Ha-Levy] Tachna, age sixteen, son of Abram, deceased, and Dwora
[Devorah daughter of Tzvi] (of the family Gajer) married couple Tachna,
leaving his mother, the Jew Dwora. After
having convinced ourselves with our own eyes of the death of the Jew
Hersko Abramowicz (last part of document missing).
