General Notes: Husband - Mosiek Fiszel Cohn
He was the eldest son of Fiszel Moskowicz Cohn and Golda. He was bor n circa 1782, but we don't know if he was born in warsaw. This date i s derived from his age in various vital records. He often acted as th e person registering the births of other members of the Cohn family . In these records his occupation is usually "collector of a lottery : or "sub-collector of a lottery." In the database he is Moshe, son o f Efraim Hacohen, but no further information is given. His tombston e is all in Hebrew.
Mosiek was married to Szyfra nee Tarler. Her date of death taken fro m her death record. Szyfra was a daughter of Lewek and Chaia daughte r of Josek. She died from cholera. Her maiden nam of Tarler comes fr om the inscription on her tombstone. In the database she is listed a s Shifra Kohn; father's name Leibush; husband's name Moshe; maiden nam e Taller (although this is a mistake since the letter "raish" was mist aken for the letter "lamed"); date of death: Aug 24, 1852.
According to teh death record of Szyfra Cohn, her surviving children a t the time of her death (Aug. 23, 1852) were: "Sura Rywka, Abram, Hin da, Szlama, Hil, and Hana." But they also had two more children (Laj a Matla and Beniamin Wolf).
General Notes: Wife - Szyfra Tarler
