The year eighteen hundred and twenty two, December the twenty ninth at thr ee o'clock in the afternoon. Before Us, the undersigned Registrar of the m unicipality of Zaremby in the district of Ostroleka, voivodship Plock, app eared the Jew Leybke [Aryeh son of Yehudah Ha-Levy] Blumenfelt (grands on of Boruch Dov Ha-Levy), bachelor, nineteen years old according to the a kt znania* issued by the Mayor of the town of Ostroleka on the twenty seve nth of December of the current year and written by the document clerk of t he assistant Public Attorney of the Kingdom (in the margin - on the twen ty ninth of December of the current year) and certified by the Court of Pi ece of the Ostroleka District on the same day, month and year, son of t he married couple Judka [Yehudah son of Boruch Dov Ha-Levy] Blumenfelt a nd Gitla [Tova], living in Ostroleka with his parents who earn their livi ng from tailoring and having his parents' permission to this marriage. Al so appeared the Jewess Cipa [Tzippora daughter of Yishayahu] Siaykowicz (S zajowicz / Szajkowicz), unmarried, nineteen years old according to the a kt znania* issued by the Mayor of the municipality of Niemiol(?) on the tw entieth of December of the current year and written by the document cle rk of the assistant Public Attorney of the Kingdom on the twenty thi rd of December of this year and certified by the Court of Piece of the Ost roleka District on the twenty fourth of the current month and year, daught er of the Jews Siaia (Szaja) [Yishayahu son of Gershon] Gerszonowicz, surn ame Zarember, and Tauba, married couple, living in the village of Zarem by Koscielne with her parents who earn their living from slaughtering a nd having her parents' permission to this marriage. Both parties appear ed to enter into matrimony. The banns of this marriage were announced in f ront of the main gate to our community House, the first on the fifteent h, the second on the twenty second of December of the current yea r. As no obstruction against this marriage occurred and the parents of bo th parties gave their permission to this marriage, and intending to meet t heir wish after having read all the produced documents as well as artic le six of the Civil Code concerning matrimony, we asked the future husba nd and the future wife if it is their wish to marry and as both of them se parately replied that this is their wish, we announce in the name of the l aw that the Jew Leyba Blumenfelt, bachelor, and Sipa Siaykowna, unmarrie d, entered into matrimony. Of this all we wrote a document in the presen ce of the Jews Abraam Herszkowicz, thirty two years old, peddler, and Leyz or Szaykowicz, fifty eight years old, trader, both of whom residing in Zar emby Koscielne, and of Ela Szlamowicz, thirty eight years old, day labore r, and Peysak Dawidowicz, fifty years old, synagogue sexton, both of wh om residing in Zaremby Koscielne, then this document was read to those w ho appeared and signed by us and the the groom, his father and his witness es. The others mentioned in this document cannot write.
