General Notes: Husband - Chaim Yechiel Borensztein

Authority on the Jewish calendar. He wrote many articles on the histo ry of the Jewish calendar. He also translated Shakespeare's play Haml et, and Farys by Adam Mickiewicz, into Hebrew. He was secretary of th e Great Synagogue on Tlomackie Street in Warsaw. He was a friend of N achum Sololow, who wrote an essay about Bornstein in his book Ishim.

He was also a Levite.
