My Beloved Brother Andrew L Sager
December 3, 1940 April 11, 2017
Andrew L Sager is remembered as a devoted father, supportive and fun-l oving friend, generous and dashingly handsome man.
Born in Manhattan Andrew moved to Deal, NJ as a youth where he was kno wn as Andy. In the 60’s Andrew returned to Manhattan, as an executiv e for the Walter Reade Organization. At WRO Andrew proudly traveled t o Russia to procure the movie rights for Tolstoy’s, War and Peace. Aft erwards he co-owned Panacea, a printing company with partner, Stanle y Hochstad, designing, producing and manufacturing books and album cov ers. Later with restaurateur, Larry Cresci, Andrew opened the Manhatta n Café on Second Avenue. In his later years he moved his family to Lo s Angeles and was employed by Apple.
He leaves behind two adoring adult children, Mildred Sager and Charle s Sager, his siblings Linda Sager, Richard (Susan) Sager, Wendy Cinnam on, Lawri Cohen, and Jinny (Lenny) Marsh, nieces and nephews, Sean Sag er, Paula (Alan) Dorfman, Amy Cinnamon, Lucas Cohen, Jocelyn (Baron) C rager, Leila Marsh, Karen Sager, his great nieces and nephews, Marlen a and Austin Sager, Alex, Samantha and Leo Dorfman, Sager and McKinle y Cohen, and Greylin and Colton Crager.
Andrew touched the lives of everyone he met and was loved by all.
The family thanks his sisters Lawri, Wendy and Jinny who were his care givers.
There is planning in the works for a private memorial service this sum mer for his family. His family is collecting stories to be read and po sted on his tribute page at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood, Fl.
