Jean Miriam Gordon Jonas KNIGHTDALE, N.C. -- Jean Miriam Gordon Jonas , of Wellington Nursing Center, Knightdale, N.C. died on Feb. 20, 2009 . A native of Portland, she was born on Jan. 7, 1928, to the late Meye r and Ida Gordon. Her husband, Robert Jonas preceded her in death in 1 965 and her brother, Sumner Gordon in 1983. Surviving are daughter, Ro byn Jonas-Munro and husband Gordon Munro of Wake Forest, N.C., and son , David Jonas of Nederland, Colo. She is also survived by brother Step hen Gordon and wife Irma Gordon of Coral Springs, Fla. Sydne and Ros s Munro are her two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at T he Levy Chapel on Feb. 23, 2009, at 10 a.m. in Portland. Burial will f ollow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements by The Jewish Fu neral Home, Portland.
