Researching the Registers of births for Marghita preser ved in the State Archives Orades for the period 1854-1876 under No. 60 8,no registration of the birth of Pepi Berkovics. In 1901 (registrati on of Lenka's birth) appears as born in Simleul Silvaniei.
After the death of her husband Joseph Markus Ungar, she lived with he r sister Sarolta and her family in Margita.
