According to his birth record his father Mojzesz Kohn, is a grain merc hant, which makes sense since his father-in-law, Meir Wolf Fajersztein , owned a granary in Kazimierz Dolny. In the birth record of Mojzes z is described as living permanently in Warsaw but temporarily in Kazi mierz.
