Zygmunt Lichtenfeld was an industrialist. He moved to Lodz and worke d at first in the Silberstein factory. He became a chairman of the Da browka Worsted Wool Spinning-mill Stock Association. He was a membe r of several charitable and philanthropic organizations in Lodz such a s the Jewish Charity Associatoin, the Bykur Cholim associatioin, an d a school for Jewish girls. He also belonged to the Credit Associati on and the Office for Senior Merchants Assembly in Lodz. He is burie d in the Bracka Street Cemetery.
