1.) 1934 graduate from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts Deg ree. 1937 earned a Bachelor of Laws cum laude from Brooklyn Law Schoo l, where she served on the staff of the Law Review and Justinian.
2.) Taught law in university in California.
A 1937 graduate of Columbia Law School, Ruth Tachna was the founding a ttorney for Legal Aid of Westchester, New York, from 1960 to 1964. Tha t year, she became the senior partner of Tachna & Krassner in White Pl ains. In 1977, Ms. Tachna taught at Northrop University School of La w in Los Angeles, where she started a law review focusing on aerospace , energy, and environmental issues. She retired from the practice of l aw in 1985 and teaches courses in writing memoirs in southern Florida.
