Jozef Kaftal died, perhaps, in 1892 in Warsa, since in JRI there i s a death record of a Jozef Kaftal in that year. The Kaftal were a we ll-known wealthy family in Warsaw. The Jewish press often mentions th e Kaftal Brothers, which included Heinrich, Bernhard, and Jozef. In h is book Dzieje handlu zydowskiego na ziemiach polskich (1937) Ignacy S chiper lists Saul Kaftal as a member of the Dozor Bozniczy [Synagogu e Inspection Committee] for the year 1848.

Teodora married Jozef Josek Kaftal, son of Szoel Kagtal and Rayzla, on Mar 19, 1861 in Warsaw, Poland. (Jozef Josek Kaftal died about 1892.)
