He moved to Paris where he became a naturalized French citizen in 1896 . Together with his brother Wlodzimierz Cohn he applied for membershi p to the Freemason Mount Sinai Lodge on March 13, 1896 and was accepte d in the same year. He was a journalist in Paris.
