Cohn, Hana Ruchla

  General Notes:

It is very likely her full name was Hana Ruchla and that she married L iber Rosenthal (Hebrew name Eliezer Yosef) son of Yaakov. There i s a woman buried in the Warsaw Jewish Cemetery named Chanah Ruchla Roz enthal (5-3-25). This grave is right beside Szyfra nee Tarler Cohn (w ife of Mosiek Fiszel Cohn) (5-3-26). She is probably Szyfra's daughte r. From the records in JRI-Poland LIber Rosenthal's wife was named Ha na Cohn and in one record her father's name is given as Mosiek. In on e record her age was 32 in 1859, therefore born circa 1827. This birt hdate fits well too.

We don't know when Hana Ruchla nee Cohn Rosenthal died, but Liber marr ied again to Rozalia nee Hutman. They had a son Arnold (b. Oct. 14, 1 864) (JRI). They apparently also had a daughter named Izabela Mundszt uk, married, who lived in Plock, and was born in Warsaw (JRI). Her fa ther was LIber Rozenthal and her mother Rozalia Kutner.

Liber had a son (we don't know who the mother was) named Izydor (Yitzh ak) Rosenthal who died on Jan. 8, 1932, buried in the Warsaw Jewish Ce metery (17-26-39). Liber Rosenthal is buried in the same sector (17-3 1-24). He died on March 2, 1901 and his grave is (17-31-24), aged 78.

Hana married Liber Rosenthal, son of Yaakov and Unknown. (Liber Rosenthal was born about 1823, died on Mar 2, 1901 and was buried in Warsaw Jewish Cemetery sector 17, row 31, number 24.)
