It took place in the city of Mława on January the eighth (January the twentieth), eighteen hundred and forty four, at eleven o’clock in the morning.  An Orthodox Jew named Wułek Tachna, baker residing in the city of Mława, age forty four years old, have appeared with the Orthodox Jews, Lewin Szmulowicz Lando, yeshiva teacher in the city of Mława, age fifty two years old, also Matys Szpara, stallholder in Mława, age sixty two years old.  He showed us a baby girl who was born here, in the city of Mława, on May the third (May the fifteenth), eighteen hundred and thirty nine, at two o’clock in the afternoon to his wife Wechna Ryfka née Mordko, age twenty three years old.  The baby was named Fromet Gitla.  This document was read to the testifiers and signed by the witnesses except for the child’s father who says is illiterate.
