It took place in Nur, in eighteen hundred and eighty two, on September the twenty second/October the fourth, at three o’clock in the afternoon. Moszko Kur, a shoemaker, age nineteen years old, residing in Nur, have appeared with Lejzor Syr, age forty years old, a landlord, and Wolf Rozenblum, miller, age twenty five years old, residing in Nur. He showed us a baby boy who was born in Nur, on September the seventeenth/September the twenty ninth, this year; at ten o’clock at night to his wife Frajda née Ossowiecka, age twenty one years old. During the circumcision ceremony the baby was named Majer.  This document was read to testifiers and signed by a clerk of the registry office because testifiers are illiterate.
