It took place in the settlement of Czyżew, on October the thirty first, nineteen hundred and four, at six o’clock in the evening. The wedding ceremony took place today in the presence of the following witnesses: Lejzor Wengorz (Węgorz), landlord, age fifty three years old, and Pejsak Surawicz, Schuldheiß, age fifty five years old, both residing in the settlement of Czyżew.  Mejer Kur, bachelor, age twenty years old, son of Abram and Chawa née Monkarz, born and residing in the settlement of Nur, with his parents, married Rywka Monkarz, bachelorette, age eighteen years old, daughter of Wolf Herszek and Chaja Bejla née Tachna, born and residing in the settlement of Czyżew, with her parents.  Three banns of marriage have been announced in the synagogue in Mława, on Sabbath of October second, October ninth and October the sixteenth, this year.  Parents gave their permission to this wedding.  The newlyweds haven’t signed any prenuptial agreement.  The couple was blessed by Rabbi of Czyżew, Szmul Dawid Zawłodawer.  This document was read to the witnesses, parents, groom and bride and signed by us and witnesses.  Parents and the newlyweds are illiterate.
