  General Notes:

He took part in the Revolution of 1905 in Warsaw, at the age of 17, an d was imprisoned in the Warsaw Citadel and in Pawiak Prison. He was a ssociated with Felicja Alter (1886-1960). But apparently she was no t Julian's wife since in the above mentioned book by Marta Sikorska-Ko walska, Felicja is described as his "partner" rather than his wife. F elicja was an active member of the Polish Communist Party and the SDKP iL [Social Democracy of the Kingdom of Poland and Lithuania]. She use d the pseudonyms "Alice," "Edyta" and "Felka."
