She was married to Jan Grossman (Grosman), son of Lazarus Grossman an d Rozalia Buchner. Jan was an industrialist (co-owner of a button fac tory) and active in community affairs in Czestochowna. He was co-foun der of a society for spinning mills and weavers and was one of the fou nders of a Polish gimnazjum [high school'.

Ewelina and Jan Grossman are both buried in the same tomb in the Warsa w Jewish Cemetery.
