Grossman, Kazimierz Alfred

He was married to Irena Zofia Kraushar from Warsaw, daughter of Danie l Kraushar and Cecylia Kaplan. Like his father Jan Grossman, Kazimier z was an industrialist (owner of a factory) and involved in communit y affairs in Czestochowa. He belonged to the administration of the So ciety for Hygiene; was a member of the tutelary council for trade scho ols at the Talmud Torah in Czestochowa; was a general secretary of th e committee and director of the Exhibition Bureau; secretary of the So ciety for the Promotion of Knowledge; and a co-organizer of the exhibi tion against tubercular consumption. Kazimierz wrote an article abou t the history of industry and current industry for the "Guidebook to t he Industry and Agricultural Exhibition in Czestochowa, August-Septemb er, 1909."
