It took place in Mława on the twenty fifth of March / the sixth of April one thousand eighteen hundred and thirty five at ten o’clock in the morning. Jewish man, Huna Izraelowicz, a baker residing here, in Mława, age twenty one years old, appeared with witnesses, both Jewish, Lewin Szmulowicz Landau, yeshiva teacher in Mława, age forty three years old, and also Matys Szpira, a peddler in Mława, age fifty three years old. He showed us a baby boy testifying that the child was born here, in Mława, on the eighteenth / the thirtieth of March one thousand eighteen hundred and thirty five at nine o’clock in the morning to his wife, Ryfka née Jakubowicz Leib, age twenty years old. The child was circumcised today and named Szmiel. This document was read to the testifier and the witnesses and signed by the witnesses [only] because the father stated he is illiterate.
