It happened in the town of Mlawa, two December, 1859 at two o’clock in the afternoon there came the Jews Levin Szmulowicz Landau, age seventy one, and Abram Bajlowicz, age forty seven, both teachers and living in Mlawa and stated that today at twelve o’clock at night died Chaim Mendel Tachna [Chaim Mendel son of Yitzhak Yakov Ha-Levy], age eight months, the son of Ickiem Jakub [Yitzhak Yakov son of Yehudah Ha-Levy] and Chany Lai [Channah Leah daughter of Moshe Tzvi] Cytryn (Citrin), married under the name Tachna, living in Mlawa. After checking personally that the child is deceased, they read the act and signed.
